About Us
A welcoming space for camelid enthusiasts
The Columbia River Camelid Association, CRCA (“Circa”), was founded on the love of the animals; the desire to work with other camelid enthusiasts; and to help others in the local area and the greater industry. Our mission is to to be an inclusive association of camelid enthusiasts, focused on love of animals, education, and socializing and networking. This association is open to all camelid enthusiasts (whether you own them or not) from anywhere, but will be primarily based in SW Washington/NW Oregon.
Camelids, for those who are curious, is the greater family name that includes camels, llamas, alpacas, vicunas, and guanacos. This association is open to those who love them and those who are fortunate enough to share their lives with them. There is no requirement or expectation to own any animals in order to participate in this association, but we are certainly happy to help you find the right animals for you if that is your goal.
We have many ideas for group activities for all ages and abilities which we hope to implement as soon as possible.

Brooklynn
Youth Representative
Vancouver, WA
My name is Brooklynn, and I’m honored to serve as the Youth Representative for the Columbia River Camelid Association. I’ve been passionate about working with llamas my entire life. I was introduced by my grandfather and fell in love, I have a great passion for showing! And being part of CRCA has given me incredible opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with others who share a love for these amazing animals.
As your youth rep, I’m here to help support and encourage young members, promote youth involvement in camelid care and shows, and serve as a voice for youth within our association. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, I’m always happy to chat, share ideas, or lend a hand.
Let’s make this year an exciting one full of learning, leadership, and fun with our camelid community!

Jaime Bussell
